Help Silvester Qualify for Junior Worlds and Beyond

Last year a series of illnesses and injuries made my Cross-country ski season more about patience & learning than it was about racing. I rebuilt my fitness and strength, going above and beyond everything that I was before. In October I raced against US, collegiate, and pro athletes. I placed first in my age group, and fourth out of all junior collegiate-age skiers.

These results give me the confidence I need to travel to and compete at Senior Nationals in Anchorage, where I aim to qualify and represent the USA at the Cross-country Skiing Junior World Championships in Milano-Cortina, Italy.

I leave home soon after Christmas, arriving a few days before the races to acclimate to the new conditions and elevation so that I will be at peak form for the most important races of the season.

The funds raised from this GoFundMe will go directly to support my trip to Alaska, covering plane tickets, food, lodging, and athletic recovery facilities.
