Help Simcoe Manor Beeton buy Lucynt Magic Table
Donation protected
My dear friend Leah Conley is attempting to raise funds to support the purchase of a Lucynt Magic Table for the Simcoe Manor in Beeton where her mom resides
Here's the story....
As you all know my Mom has MS, she made the decision to move into a Long-Term Care home in March of last year. COVID has made this already trying time that much more difficult.
With the cancellation of group activities in the home and for the most part the residents being encouraged to stay in their rooms we have had to get very creative with communications and activities. My sons and I are doing the best we can to help my Mom feel connected and to stave off boredom, loneliness.
I came across this game called Lucynt magic table, a virtual game for seniors specifically designed to help seniors who may be feeling lonely or unstimulated in old age homes, requires zero assistance from staff.
The system just keep’s running through the day so residents can enjoy it anytime they wish. There are hundreds of games this system plays; I have included a link at the bottom in case you are interested to see how it works.
These systems are very costly, upwards of $10,000.00 as a family we decided to fundraise to help speed up the purchase and assist the home.

Leah and her boys, have put together other fund raising efforts but we wondered though if a gofundme campaign may bring broader awareness to the issues and just one example of a program that would so very much benefit all the residents at Simcoe Manor. Whatever support you can provide would be most appreciated even if just to share this link to reach as many people as possible.
Thank you
