Help Simona get to Thailand: leading TCK workshop

Hi! I’m Simona and I’m an artist and a TCK (Third Culture Kid). This means I grew up in a different culture from my passport culture— the “third” refers to an intangible culture made up of all the places a TCK is from. My graduating thesis and body of artwork addresses TCK themes like belonging, grief, and hope.

My friend Megan (who has written an amazing book on belonging & TCKs) and I have been invited to collaborate and lead a creative workshop at the International TCK conference in Chiangmai, Thailand (October 19th-23rd).

My faith and my art have been extremely important to me as I work through my cultural identity - and I would be thrilled to see if I can help launch or facilitate that process for someone else.

I am so honored to have been invited to share about my work - but I can’t afford to get there on my own!

Registration for the conference and stay is $400. I’m also including $ for flights, to help provide materials for the workshop and also for the checked baggage to transport it there.
