help simone veil with rent and a security deposit

hello! my name is simone, and i'm an artist who has been living on the poverty line for the past decade. i haven't been able to afford dental care or medical care for some time, and i recently moved from the midwest to california where i am hoping to get access to health care and housing and many of the things i need to survive!

the first step is securing a living space, and i'm estimating to begin with i will need 2,000-3,000 dollars to pay the first month's rent and a security deposit
