Help single father of 3 after devastating fire.

Hi, my name is Alexandria and I am fundraising for Vicente Mejia and his family. Vincente is a single father of 3, 2 boys and the oldest, his daughter. On March, 30th 2023 Vicente and his children along with the owner of the residence were woken up to a fire Marshall knocking on the door asking them to evacuate the residence immediately. Upon evacuating they were able to see the nature of the danger they had been in and that it was their home in complete and total flames. Thankfully the fire department was able to put the house fire out before it was able to reach any other residence but unfortunately, anything and everything they had was completely and totally destroyed.

Here's the really sad part, Vicente is a single father who has just recently became the custodial parent having his 3 children full time himself right around a year ago when he got a call from the kids mother telling him he needed to come get the kids because she could no longer provide for them, so he hopped in his car and drove to Georgia they moved states and came here to live with dad after having lived with mother full time prior so it has definitely been an adjustment to everyone without this tragedy having happened. His kids came with the clothes on their backs and that's it. So in the roughly two years he's had them full time he had been spending it trying to provide them with everything they needed as they came to him with NOTHING. Upon just finally feeling like they were okay with everything and the kids finally were okay with their wants and needs, this fire happened to their home and literally destroyed EVERYTHING HE HAD JUST WORKED SO HARD TO PROVIDE FOR THEM. They honestly have to start all over and really have nothing now as there's nothing salvageable from their home. As the community resources are so limited anymore they're not able to help financially with finding and obtaining housing and that's what's making this really hard on all of them.

Bless Vicentes neighbor's heart for allowing this family to stay in her home since this fire took place but as of the end of THIS MONTH so May she has family coming to visit and so she needs her home back and so I can't even begin to try to tell you how bad this family is needing help. From all the essentials that come with providing for 3 kids to a home for them to call their own they need your help. My heart just breaks for them. Also because without having a new place to call home there is nowhere to have any of the things they so terribly need and with 3 kids it's a lot more than a person would think from beds to bedding, dishes to pots and pans, bathroom items, clothes, shoes, bookbags a home this family really needs everything. Please help this family if you are able, so Vicente doesn't have to watch his children suffer any longer than they already have. I can't stand the thought of this family having to be homeless so please help them. Any and all donations made will go directly to Vincente and his family and hopefully we will be able to get them somewhere to call home very soon.
