Help Jillian Bernard Recover from Boating Accident
Donation protected
As most of you know, my sister, Jillian Bernard, was involved in the deadly boating accident on the Tickfaw River after the Poker Run event this past weekend. During this tragedy, she was thrown from the boat, causing multiple fractures in her femur and demolishing her knee caps, along with facial split needing stitches. She also has limited use of her left arm.
At the time, her boyfriend was thrown 100 yards and ultimately saved her life after finding her in the water, pulling her up as much as possible without her legs causing massive pain.
Most important that she wants others to know, during this accident, she lost her best friend and Godmother of her oldest son.
She is a single mom to two boys and for the first six weeks of her recovery, she will not be able to put any weight on her leg, unable to use the restroom, or drive a vehicle. The recovery for
walking time is looking like she will not be able to fully walk for about a year.
We are trying to help her to cover medical expenses, bills for the next year since she won’t be able to work and to help cover anything the boys may need.
Any amount helps, so if you find it in your heart to donate, we would be very appreciative.
Thanks so much everyone!
