Help Single Mom with on going battle with Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, Many of you know my family from Sussex and the hardships that my sisters have faced over the past 10 years each fighting their own battle with this terrible disease, Cancer. Many families have suffered from this tenacious sickness which devastates families both emotionally and financially.
Unfortunately, this horrible disease has once again struck my family, this time Jeryln, my youngest sister.
Jeryln is a single Mom who worked alongside my other sister at 'Beckey's Hair Therapy' . Back in 2017 Jeryln was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Knowing she had to follow my Mother's example and fight this for her family, Jeryln put on a brave face and continued to work to support herself and her son Teddy. Due to her diligence with her treatments and other holistic approaches, Jeryln beat Cancer !
The victory was fleeting when she was rediagnosed in 2020 with Inflamatory Breast Cancer. More surgery followed including a bilateral mastectomy with multiple painful skin graphs. Only to be followed by more rounds of Radiation and intense Chemotherapy. Soon after Beckey's husband of 21 years became bedridden with his own battle with Brain Cancer, Jeryln stepped up and helped pick up the slack at the Salon. She did this selflessly while undergoing intensive Chemotherapy to allow Becky to spend more time with John. This finally took a toll on Jeryln's energy reserve causing her to cut back on her hours and pay a little more attention to her own fight, something she is not used to doing.
In February 2023 She was again diagnosed with metastasized breast cancer in the lymph nodes in her chest.
As the result of a related procedure the scar tissue left by the radiation broke up and is putting pressure on a nerve rendering her right arm useless. This will require additional surgery to relieve unrelenting pain and pressure.
Her fight continues as she cannot work until the Dr.'s come up with a solution to fix her right arm and hand so she can resume doing what she loves by working alongside her sister and serving the community.
Every little bit helps, It would be greatly appreciated if you could donate to help with current and future expenses.
If you cannot donate prayers and good vibes are most definitely encouraged and appreciated!
Sincerely.
