Help Sir Spencer Replace His Stolen Car
Donation protected
As many of you know, Spencer’s (aka Trans Dad, my Sir) car was stolen from his driveway about a month ago. The thieves were both bold - stealing it midday - speedy, and stealthy - while he was home.
Sometimes life just happens, and there’s no easy answer or reason why. Only carrying on. There’s a lot of that these days.
Spencer’s 2018 Hyundai Tucson SEL was found and insurance deemed it totaled. The insurance payout will not be enough for him to get a new car.
Spencer is self-employed - which makes car loans difficult to obtain. He drives over 150 miles per day taking his kiddo to and from her jobs training program for young adults with special needs. He is also the caretaker for his 90 year old mom. Getting a replacement vehicle with similar dimensions and features is essential for safety, comfort for his body, accessibility for his mom, all-wheel drive, & decent gas mileage.
Spencer does so much for the people in his life - whether his immediate family, friends, communities, or complete strangers. He serves as a listening ear to many, a public presence of older trans men, and more.
He is a proud man and he rarely asks for help. I’d appreciate you helping me to help him after this unfortunate event.
Warmly.
