Help Sisters 1st Go to Robotics World Championship

Tax deductible
We are Sisters 1st, Villa Walsh Academy’s robotics team, the ONLY ALL-FEMALE FIRST Robotics Competition team in New Jersey, and WE ARE GOING TO THE FIRST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP on April 17-20 in Houston, Texas! WE DID IT!

Worlds, watch out…Sisters 1st and RIRI are coming!

As a result of the teams’ hard work and consistently performing at the highest levels this season, we finished 20th in the FIRST®️ Mid-Atlantic District Competition at Lehigh University. The TEAM absolutely rocked it earning three awards over the three competitions: Industrial Design, Excellence in Engineering, and the Judges Awards!

We want to express our deepest gratitude for the love and support we have received thus far, as Sisters 1st would not have been able to get to this level and reach this HUGE milestone without you and your support. But there’s lots more to do as we prepare for our trip to World’s in Houston TX.
So…we’re calling on all our friends and family to help get us to the finish line!!!
Sisters 1st has set up a GoFundMe page to raise the necessary funds and resources for our mentors, coaches, and students to attend this incredible event; the Super Bowl of robotics!
Anything you can do to help us (and RiRi) further would be greatly appreciated. We are raising funds to send 10 students, 2 coaches, and 3 mentors to the competition. These funds will cover our registration fee, robot transportation, flights, hotels, and meals. Attending the event with approximately 45,000 people is not only an opportunity to meet other young people from around the world (the US, Canada, Middle East, Africa, Europe, Central America, China, and South America), but also the chance for enhanced learning opportunities, research and exploration, interactive learning, and networking and mentorship.Keep in mind, all donations are tax deductible. Please see the link in our bio to donate! No amount is too small (or big!).
This year has been incredible and so FUN! And it’s the ongoing encouragement and support shown to every member of our team that keeps us striving and ultimately what got us to Worlds! And we are so grateful for our coaches, mentors, families, and especially our sponsors, J&J, R. Seelaus, Phoenix Tube, Horizon, Comcast, Dod Stem, Picatinny Arsenal, BAE Systems, Nokia Bell Laboratories, Service Now, Meier Stone, and Metal Supermarkets!
