Help Us Further Our Ballet Training at CPYB!

Hello everyone! If you don't know me, my name is Asia, and I am a 14yr old aspiring ballerina. Since the age of 12, it has been my dream to dance for a professional ballet company. This year I am incredibly honored and excited to be attending the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's Year-Round Program. I've attended their summer program for the past three years, and from the very first day, I fell in love with the training and atmosphere that the school provided. Each summer, I left the program feeling stronger technically and immense improvement as an artist. At the end of the 2021 summer program, I was awarded the CPYB's Female Training Scholarship, an extraordinary opportunity to receive two years of year-round, uninterrupted ballet training with renowned instructors and mentors here at CPYB. 


As generous as this scholarship is, my family is struggling financially and still needs help covering my and Alyssa's shared rent of $1,600/mo and uniform costs for the two of us. It would mean the world to us if you would donate any bit you can or share with your family and friends. I truly appreciate all of your support.  This scholarship is worth $35,000 of year-round training, including their 5-week summer intensive and the 2-week August course, as well as a $500 monthly stipend to put towards my room and board costs.

Hey everyone! I was recently informed of my acceptance into Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's year-round Pre-Professional Division program! This program offers an intense training environment with fantastic performance opportunities to develop and perfect my craft as a ballet dancer. Luckily my classes would start later in the day, so I would have time to work.  My Mom and I are trying our best to come up with the money for tuition and moving expenses, but it will be a struggle in our current financial situation. However, this education is critical for me to perfect my skill as an artist and will help me get into companies internationally as a paid artist.

I will be there for one year, and by the time I get situated and find a job, my expenses would have piled up; Costs such as airfare, ground travel, housing, dancewear, pointe shoes, and day-to-day living expenses.

My goal is $20,000 to help pay rent ($1,100/mo) and pointe shoes, but every little bit counts! $5, $10, $20, $50...it all adds up!
