Hello, my name is Charbel Rameh. I organized this page to raise funds for my two nieces who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis (CF). The fundraising is for the cost of a medication called Trikafta-Kaftrio. Please view Karen and Celine’s video, read below for more details.
Join me in supporting Karen (25 yrs) and Celine (20 yrs) two brave sisters and resilient individuals who have been living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) since birth. CF is a chronic and progressive disease that affects the lungs, digestive system, and other organs, making it a daily challenge for those living with it. They receive treatment and are on numerous medications and constant antibiotics at all times, in addition to being hospitalized multiple times a year.
Despite the difficulties that come with CF, Karen and Celine, have never let this disease define them. Karen and Celine are two bright young women, pursuing their bachelor’s degrees in nursing and forensic sciences. Unfortunately, their health has prevented them from participating in physical activities and living a normal life like everyone their age or socializing.
But even with this incredible spirit, CF takes a toll on Celine and Karen’s health and financial stability. Since there is no cure for CF, their only chance is a medication called Trikafta-Kaftrio. This medication has been demonstrated to help improve lung function, reduce the number of respiratory infections, and enhance one's quality of life. The cost of treatments, medications, and specialized equipment can be overwhelming as the costs exceed $12,000 monthly.
That's why I am holding a fundraiser in support of my two nieces. With your help, we can provide financial support to cover the costs of medical expenses, ensuring that both young ladies can continue to live their life to the fullest without the added burden of financial stress.
