Hello Friends, Family, Clients & Colleagues!
Supporting queer, fat, trans folks with low resources and complex needs is my passion, and I also live at these intersections. I am a part of so many amazing communities and value practicing what I teach. This is one of the great strengths of our community. Watching civil, trans, & women’s rights continue to be stripped through several states is heartbreaking. With your help, I can continue to thrive as a resource locally and beyond, less burdened by financial insecurity.
The past few years have drained my capacity to sustain a small business. I have limited time for social media content creation, marketing, and offering groups. This barely leaves me with enough energy to feed myself, keep my apartment relatively clean, and live.
Where I am currently focusing my energy:
coaching for my business, Resilient Fat Goddex - 5-10 hours/wk
- social work internship (unpaid) with Beaverton High School - 10 hours/wk
- graduate classes plus assignments - 15+ hours/wk
- applying for jobs - about 5 hours/wk
- PT elementary school social worker - 10 hours/wk until June 21st (my first paycheck will be June 20th.)
What I am asking for will ensure that my living expenses are covered for the next couple of months while I graduate and secure a job for the next school year as a school social worker. I graduate on June 18th!
You can help me by:
- Donating to this Go Fund Me
- Liking, sharing, & commenting wherever you see my GFM
- Sending money to my Venmo ( @resilientfatgoddex ) or and choosing the family/friend option
- Referring people to my ADHD or embodiment coaching
- Becoming a coaching client
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m deeply thankful for your support in who I am, trusting me, and supporting my life-affirming work within our communities.
In fat, queer solidarity,
SJ
