HELP SJU MEDLIFE VOLUNTEER IN CUSCO, PERU!

This summer, June 1-9th, St. John’s University MEDLIFE Chapter will be embarking on a week long Service Learning Trip where they will volunteer in Cusco, Peru hand in hand with the local community. MEDLIFE is a nonprofit organization that provides Medicine, Education, and Development for Low Income Families Everywhere. On the SLT, students will be working with MEDLIFE on-site staff of healthcare professionals to provide medical care to these communities in Cusco. The MEDLIFE impact stretches far beyond our week long service as patients who require further medical treatment and assistance are enrolled in a 365-day follow up program where they receive the facilities and resources they need by MEDLIFE staff. Our movement empowers the poor in their fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home. This is SJU MEDLIFE’s second Service Learning Trip as a re-founded chapter and of 2024. We strive towards continuing to grow the movement and be the change we wish to see in the world. Each student who registers must raise a donation goal which goes towards funding MEDLIFE’s relief efforts. We kindly ask for any donations to help us reach our donation goals for our registered students. By contributing to our donation goal, you are helping fund our medical mobile clinics and development projects that will be held in Cusco, Peru during our SLT.
