Help Slammers Get Back On Its Feet

Hey friends!  As many of you probably remember, I managed Slammers for several years up until July, 2019.  Like many of us, to me, Slammers is home.  The little bar that so many of us  Love so dearly and have memories of needs our help!  

With COVID closing the doors in March, times have been tough.  As many of you are aware, there was quite a bit of damage over the weekend and the bar is unable to open this week as originally planned.

We understand the importance of protests.  We understand that our windows and possessions can be replaced, while the lives of our slain brothers and sisters most certainly cannot.  Black lives matter at Slammers.  Our needs are incomparable to those that which so many are protesting for.   We would not be here without Stonewall.  You stood with us then, and we stand with you now.

That being said, we pride ourselves on being a safe space for all - this includes race, orientation, identity etc.  We need some help getting back to the point where we can open our doors to everyone and help our employees in the process.
