Help Slater and Karen After Disaster

Slater and Karen have no idea what is left (if anything) in their newly remodeled home. They have yet to see their home (or lot) but as of January 9, they were told it’s one of a few houses left on the street. If it is standing, there is likely extensive water and smoke damage. They were also victims of the 2011 Pasadena windstorms where another home was lost completely to a fire that day.

Slater and Karen did not have time to plan for the evacuation because they were dealing with a family member in hospice who was close to transition.
