Hello, my name is Francisco and I am currently at the University Hospital in Denver, Colorado. I am here because my heart is not in good condition. For some time now, I have been experiencing an excessive buildup of fluid both in the sac surrounding my heart and outside of it, which has caused considerable inflammation in this vital organ. The doctors are actively investigating the cause of this fluid accumulation, but so far they have not been able to determine the exact origin of the injury or the underlying problem that is causing this situation. On Saturday night, I underwent surgery, during which nearly 1,000 ml of fluid was removed from me. After this procedure, they placed a catheter and a tube that connects directly to my heart to continuously drain the fluid and relieve the pressure on my heart. I am a 28-year-old guy and, until now, I had not had any significant heart problems. It is surprising how, overnight, my life has changed drastically. This unexpected situation has been very difficult not only for me but also for my family, who are dealing with the anguish of seeing me in this condition. This account has been managed by my parents, and I want to take this opportunity to ask for your support. Any donation you can offer will be greatly appreciated, as my medical plan will not cover all the expenses associated with this treatment.
