Help Sofia Heal from Severe ATV Injuries

On July 20th, 2024, Sofia's 20th birthday, I received the news at 1:42 am that she had been involved in a roll-over ATV accident. The ATV had rolled 3 times, and the second time it rolled over her chest and pinned her underneath. Thankfully, her friends' fast reactions in calling 911, pulling her out from under it, and securing her airway saved her life.

She was airlifted to Washington Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where I was told to come right away. She was bleeding from her head and in critical condition. My oldest daughter and I took off on the 6-hour journey to be by her side.

Sofia was alive but has extensive injuries. Liver laceration, bilateral pneumothoraces, bilateral pulmonary contusion, sternal fracture, liver injury, splenic vein injury, thoracic spine fracture, and scalp laceration with stitches.

Her insurance just ended the month before and the medical bills will be outrageous. She has a long road of healing and a lot of doctor's appointments and will not be able to work for a month. Any amount will help with her healing, the bills that are already piling up, and her aftercare of all the things she needs to get better. Thank you, God above, for saving my beautiful baby girl.
