Help Sofia swim in Israel this summer

Hi, Sofia Barone has the opportunity to travel to Israel for 3 weeks this summer as part of Team Philadelphia for the 2023 JCC Maccabi games as a swimmer. We are looking for help to raise funds to help Sofia achieve her goal of attending this exciting opportunity presented to her. Last year Sofia entered the games for the first time as they took place in San Diego, CA. It was a great way for Sofia to get acclimated to the games as a swimmer, meet other kids from around the world, learn more about Maccabi history, and do community service.

For those unfamiliar with the JCC Maccabi Games, it began in 1982 as a way for Jewish teens between 13-16 to connect with other Jewish teens from around the country, and the world, to participate in sports events while making friends, developing a Jewish identity, and give back to the community through volunteerism.
