Help Sol & Laurie’s family rebuild their lives

On Tuesday the 10th of September Solitaire and Laurie Smith, along with their two children (2 and 6 months) lost their family home to a fire in Wardrop Valley, just outside of Murwillumbah NSW. Thankfully no one was home or hurt but now they have to start again.
If you know Sol and Laurie, you simply love them. They are the kindest, most loving and giving people. Their house wasn’t just a house, but a home and not just for their family, but for anyone who visited. They’re beautiful babies were born in the lounge room. There have been so many laughs, wonderful conversations and good times in this home with so many incredible memories made.
Both Sol and Laurie are very environmentally conscious and community minded. They shop locally, give back as much as they can and have amazing plans for their property to help the environment and wider community.
They’re fortunate to have building insurance but not contents insurance. They will have to buy everything from a washing machine, beds, to pots and pans and everything in between. Sol and Laurie aren’t the kind to ask for help, but are always willing to give it. Right now, they really need it!
I have decided to set up this GoFundMe for them, to allow family, friends and the community to help this beautiful family rebuild their life. I know there are so many people who will want to help them and by donating money, this will help ease the financial stress of their future.
