Help solo mum of 4 with self-sustainable dream

Donation protected
To whoever is reading this. Hello, my name is Kara. I am a single mum of 4 boys - Eli (9), Kayden (8), Evyn (4), and Lloyd (2).
We are the 'hippy family'. Passionate about animals, nature, growth and expansion in all forms, low impact living, integrity, peace-loving, non/low-toxic imprints and living, standing up for what's right and against injustices, natural and holistic health and living, design, music, upcycling, organic gardening passionate, and have a dream of a self-sufficient lifestyle and simple sustainable life. Due to many reasons, we have moved quite a few times over the years, and the boys have changed schools. I am currently studying and by the end of this year intended to be a fully qualified energy healer and completely financially self-sufficient. At this stage, I am on centerlink still and trying to get out of that 'pay you enough to survive but never enough to get ahead' trap but not quite there, while more and more hurdles get thrown our way.

We find ourselves in a difficult position where we are needing to move from the home that we are currently in mainly due to health and safety reasons, in a rental market that is skyrocketing and we cannot really afford. We currently live out bush, pay very low rent, the boys love their school and have made beautiful connections and friendships and I would love to stay around the area we are to maintain those connections and not uproot them from another school and familiarity.
I have been looking and considering to no avail all our options, and all alternatives. Which brought me to this. I am seeking donations to help us buy 2 demountable, and set up a permanent home on a friend's block which we will either rent cheap or be able to stay by contributing with help on the block.

I am asking for $40,000 total in donations. Or for min. 400 kind hearted people to be willing to donate $100 worth of their yearly bought coffee budget. Or 2000 with $20 they could spare. Very quickly it can add up. "This woman has got to be insane" you think? Hear me out.

What this amount will do.....is completely change our lives.

What this amount will also do is buy us 2x 8x3 fully waterproofed and outer finished with colour bond steel that are joined together, demountables. These demountables have already been used as a temporary home before so the inside walls are already complete and electrics are already set up. It also contains a small kitchenette and bathroom. The demountable also comes with two small solar panels and the set up for the battery pack included. Its able to be moved straight into. It is being sold for $20,000 but seller is somewhat negotiable and is happy to hold it for me for a month to see if I can get the money for it.
We would then get a 12.5x3 demountable that is again waterproofed and outer ready, but is a blank canvas inside other than the walls, trim, sills etc. This demountable is being sold for $5,000 and is cheap mainly due to its location. Which is far from town but only about 30minutes from where we are out bush. The other demountable is 10minutes away.
Several grand would go towards the transport of the demountables to their new slabs on our friends property.
A tradie to connect and wire in all the electrics.
A composting toilet because that is one thing the bathroom doesn't have.
A tradie to connect the pipes and water up from the tank to the house.
I would then find a second hand water tank, or several in great condition and have those transported and set up. They would be filled from our friends bore.
The remaining money would go towards the metalwork foundations for a decking area that would be installed between the two demountables to connect them and allow for more room as the boys grow. Framework and sheeting for above the decking area to make a roof and the area completely weatherproof. As well as installing interior walls so that way we can separate rooms and create more individual spaces.
I already have garden beds that would be set up and we love organic gardening where our yield is increasing more and more and we live off of our own veggies for several months of the year. With plans to increase this. We plan and intend to eventually set up further with aquaponics and a mini permaculture set up.
For power we would set up the battery pack that comes with the first demountable, eventually get more solar panels to become entirely self sufficient and be able to store power. But we are also able to connect into our friends power grid if need be also.
We could stay out bush, in a permanent location where the boys could stay in their school, not have to worry about moving again, stay close to their friends, and live a very close to eventully completely self sufficient lifestyle of our dreams. In a home that we could easily grow into as is even as the boys get older and grow bigger, or even expand further.
Because of the amount I would be saving on other bills and expenses, it would mean I could get off Centrelink far sooner than intended, maybe even within months, and be able to live off and save (omg, to be able to save!!) from my income generated by my energy healing business alone, that I'll be setting up also within the next couple of months as I finish my course and become fully qualified.
Our organic garden means that we attract lots of beneficial insects and bees to our garden, which in turn have a beneficial symbiotic effect on nature as the insects go around and pollinate and touch more and more plants. We would also eventually have a small apiary to house European bees, to have an even greater impact on the environment and to help extend their populations.
The remainder of the work would be done by myself, or with the help of friends, with the remainder of the funds, or over time as I got the funds.

When I say it would change our lives, I truly mean it would utterly transform our lives.
If you have made it this far, I am beyond grateful and thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

I would like to add two more things...

I have been a stay at home mum for many years because I believe in the importance of staying at home and nurturing connections with our children, especially in the first years, wherever possible.
While I will admit that it was often the harder path, I want to shamelessly say that I feel I have still been a positive and active contributor to society regardless. We try to spread love and positivity everywhere we go. In the last 5 years alone, I have organised and orchestrated the collection of donations and making of essentials bags for the homeless. planned, organised, actioned and saw out the collection of hundreds of donations of all kinds, for an open chrismas lunch for all, but mainly directed for the homeless and indigenous communities to be able to come, feast, take food and donations away with them - that day we had close to 300 people come, all of whom left full, smiles on their faces, kids had toys, and homeless and community members had everything from bedding, to clothes, shoes, books, jewellery, bags, sleeping bags and much more. It was a truly magickal day. As well as, in the last 2years, co-forming 'Free in the NT'. The activist group for NT protesting the mandates and lock downs. Other than Free in the NT, everything else I did with my own money, time and energy, and always with kids in tow and also at times pregnant with kids in tow.
I have done this not only because I believe that we must do our part wherever we can to benefit society and humanity, but also because I have always tried to show and model the example to my boys of being different. Being a light in the world and that it doesn't always take alot to make a difference, but for some, it can be life changing or even life-saving. I will also admit that acts like the ones above are also soul food, so I also got greatly rewarded in that way and the beautiful people and connections I made because of those times.
It is not uncommon for us to buy someone who asks for money food, or a meal, and I am beyond proud that often times, it's now my boys who notice the poorly and ask if we can help them.
I tend to think along the lines of 'we do it tough, but some others do it tougher. What do I have an abundance of that I can share, or where can I help?'
I say this because I am trying to say that while I have been on benefits, I have still always contributed where I can to make a difference, sometimes even to my own further detriment. But in our lives changing with the money raised for our new home, and being able to build a financial abundance, it would also end up going back out into the world and your kind act spreading further. The more abundant I become, the more I want to share it with others in the hopes to help them.

I also want to add that this post actually wasn't easy for me. I don't like feeling like I am posting a sob story or just asking for handouts. So! I have an offer! All those who donate will go into the draw to win one whole years worth of energy healings by yours truly! The only catch is that the healings will not commence until I am fully qualified (roughly around april), but the one year starts from the first session. So if the winner has their first session in may, then the one year is up at the end of may next year.
The energy healings are a modality called 'Bodyflow Energetics' which specialises particularly in removing personal and intergenerational trauma, and all other kinds of energy blocks.
Make sure to leave your name and email when you sign up so that I can enter you into the draw. The winner will be selected by a random generator when the target amount is reached and contacted upon reveal. GOOD LUCK!

Thankyou once again to any and all who read this. Thankyou even more if you are someone who felt to help contribute to this hippy mums dream and complete life change for my boys and I.
Many blessings and much love to you, dear reader. May your 2023 be prosperous, and your karma for your generosity return swiftly.

Kara.
