Help Somat Rahmat Sugandi say goodbye

An update from the family: 

We are so very sad about this update. Somat passed away peacefully this afternoon, with Haylee by his side. Haylee and Somat’s families are overwhelmed by everyone’s support, prayers and generosity. Somat’s sister and one of his brothers will be arriving in Australia in a few days. We will all be thinking and praying for Somat tonight and into the future. You will be so missed and forever remembered for bringing so much light and joy in to our lives.

Somat has recently suffered an unexpected escalation of his cancer diagnosis.

Unfortunately no further treatment is possible and he is currently receiving end of life care at St George hospital in Sydney.

Somat is a generous friend to all he meets and his friends and family want to honour this generosity. We are raising funds towards flights and accommodation for members of Somat’s family, so they can travel from Bali to say goodbye to their beloved Somat.

This will provide much needed love and support to Somat and his wife Haylee at this terrible time.

Additional funds will be used towards Somat’s end of life care and expenses. Helping to make him as comfortable as possible during his final days, burial costs and to support his wife Haylee during this terribly emotional time.
