Help son with rare disease medical, etc expense

Hi, my name is Terry York. My son, James Bonnette, has been recently diagnosed with a rare medical disease called PAN, Polyarteritis Nodosa. This requires extensive Chemo and steroid treatment and is a lifetime disease, but can go into remission with proper and continued treatment. The high cost of this disease and its future implications of costs has devastated the family finances, and this looks to continue without financial help.

James, who is 54, is a 30 yr retired veteran of law enforcement. He is married, with four children, and one grandchild. He has always been a hard-working, loving, son, husband and father, who has been brought down by the effects of chemo, etc. Now he finds it hard emotionally not to be able to keep up with what he sees as his duties to his loved ones.

I have decided to go public with this plea in hopes that the burden can be alleviated somewhat. Anything that is laid upon your heart to share would be greatly appreciated, and I would be forever grateful.
