Help Sonny Gordon in his fight against ALS

Hi everyone,

On behalf of Sonny's good friends and colleagues I am starting this GoFundMe Page to help support our dear friend, Sonny Gordon and his family with their fight against ALS.

Sonny has made such an impact in all of our lives. Sonny is a natural leader both inside and outside of the office, he demonstrates what it means to lead by example, to work hard, and to always show up with respect and gratitude. Sonny is a true family man, loves his wife Angie, son DJ, daughter Kandace and son-in-law Avery very much.

Many of you will also know Sonny from his extensive and successful football career. Sonny started his career with the Ohio State Buckeyes from 1983 - 1986 playing defensive back. Sonny was captain of the team in his senior year leading the team to the Cotton Bowl championship. Following his time at OSU, Sonny was drafted to the NFL by the Cincinnati Bengals and played for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then continued his career in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Just this year, Sonny was diagnosed with ALS or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. ALS is a progressive neurological disease where the nerve cells that connect your brain to your muscles (motor neurons) lose function and die resulting in progressive weakness. Needless to say, this was a shock to Sonny and his family - but in true Sonny fashion, he has approached this battle with relentless drive and positivity to fight this battle as hard as he can.

Sonny has without doubt always been there for us, and now it is our time to show up and be there for him and his family. These funds will help support the Gordon family as they continue their battle with ALS.
