Help Sophanna Fight Endometrial Cancer!

Hello all,
My name is Emily Ly, most of ya'll know me as Jay's Mom. We are fundraising to help Sophanna Mak through this journey!
Diagnosis:
After some abnormal cells were found this past Spring 2023, Sophanna has been diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer. The initial surgery she had was a Dilation and curettage to find out how aggressive the cancer is. The uterus wall was covered in abnormal growth to the point medical leadership decided to remove the uterus entirely. It was determined that the cancer has moved to Stage 4. During the Hysterectomy, we had hoped she can keep her ovaries to be able to still have a biological child through IVF. However, the cancer has spread to both ovaries and the surgeon had to remove everything. This was a major blow to Panna since having her own child was always a dream for her. Through this journey, she has remained hopeful and cheerful for everyone around her. Since then she has been through 4 Chemo Treatments.
Sophanna has been a guiding light and the shoulder to lean on for many of us. She has helped everyone that's in need without any conditions. In a world we live in now, that is a rare quality to have. Sophanna is one of the significant pillars in the children's life and our life. She has helped me raise Jay to the person he is today and I will always be eternally grateful. To be truthful, we cannot imagine life without her. I am sure most of us feel the same way. I've never seen anyone be so joyful and encourage laughter with all the hospital staff to ease their tension. She continues to make everyone around her laugh with her humor during these trying times.
This is an amazing human being who's been through a lot and yes, this should not be a path anyone at any age should have to go through. With life, that's how it is bad things often happen to good people and we don't have a reason for it. Even through it all, she has decided to remain physically, mentally, and emotionally available for all the kids, family, friends, and coworkers. That's more than most people are willing to do.
I am asking and pleading for any support you can help will make an immense impact on her life. With this fund, we will be able to help Panna with her medical bills and medication costs and give her some sense of financial security. Through this process, she has to take off work for Chemo appointments, doctor follow-ups, and recovery time. She is still actively working through the treatments to keep up with the normal day-to-day bills and living expenses. Due to the financial burdens, she has to move back to her family's home to cut costs. The donation will allow her to actually take recovery time without having to worry about medical expenses and bills.
Endometrial Cancer Background:
Stage 4 endometrial cancer is the most advanced stage of cancer of the uterus. It means that the cancer has spread beyond the pelvis to nearby organs, such as the bladder or the bowel, or to distant areas of the body. Stage 4 endometrial cancer is less treatable than earlier stages and may require surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, or hormone therapy.
