Help Sophia Get Through The Next Few Months

Hello. My name is Sophia Jones. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in March this year. I was initially told I would likely only need one surgery to remove the lump and then radiotherapy afterwards and medication for the next five years because it had been caught early.
Unfortunately, they found more cancer when they operated so I had to have another surgery, after that surgery they found even more so I had to have another. In total I have had four surgeries!
Not long after returning to work in August, was informed that I would need chemotherapy and then radiotherapy.
Because of the unforeseen surgeries, I had used up all my annual leave and ALL my sick pay and went on Universal Credit to help with my bills.
I started chemotherapy treatment in late September. It has been extremely hard. But I have tried to continue to work. My hours have been adjusted to four days a week. Two working from home and two in the office. Thankfully I’m on a government scheme that helps me take a taxi to work . But I had no idea I would be so ill! It has become too much for me and my doctor has signed me off work until the end of my treatment which ends at the end of February so I can focus on my health.
I phoned Macmillan help line this week to help me work out my finances for the time I will be off and I will be over £5000 short! I am applying for help with my housing and council tax too. But I would be most grateful if you could help me. I have worked hard my entire life for charities and it’s taken a lot for me to set up this page as I’m used to asking for funds for other people.
Thank you! Whatever you give will make a HUGE difference.
God bless you!
