Help Soumia start her dream

Hi everyone who knows me and who doesn’t know me,

My name is Soumia, I’m a 34-year-old woman from Morocco, a mother of two beautiful daughters, and I have a dream. But to make it a reality, I need a little help.

Cooking has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I stood by my mother’s side, learning the secrets of traditional Moroccan cuisine. First, it was simple dishes like Msemen, but as I grew older, so did the complexity of my cooking. I remember how good I felt when I first prepared couscous for a Friday, it was like stepping into a new world, a world where food was more than just nourishment. It was an act of love, tradition, and connection.

My passion only grew from there. I spent hours watching cooking videos, asking everyone for tips, and perfecting every dish. Eventually, I turned my passion into my profession, having the privilege of cooking for both Moroccans and visitors from around the world. Nothing makes me happier than sharing my love for Moroccan cuisine, my culture, and the joy that a well-cooked meal can bring.

And now, I’m ready for the next step: not just cooking for others, but teaching. I want to share the beauty of Moroccan cooking with as many people as possible, teaching them not only how to prepare delicious meals but also how to experience the joy and warmth that comes with it.

My dream is to open a cooking class workshop on my own in Tamraght, offering both private and group sessions. I hope to grow it to the point where I can teach two groups a day, passing on my Moroccan recipes, my techniques, and my love for food. One day, I even dream of publishing my own cookbook, bringing Moroccan flavors to kitchens around the world.

But starting a business takes investment, and that’s where I need your help. If you’ve ever tasted my food, if you believe in my dream, or if you simply have a little to spare, please consider supporting me. Every contribution, big or small, brings me one step closer to making this dream come true.

And who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be sitting in my class, cooking alongside me. Or perhaps, you’ll find my recipe book on the shelf of a bookstore in your city. And that will be because of your help.

Thank you, shukran bzef.

With love and gratitude,
Soumia
