Help Sparks Get the Medical Care He Needs
Donation protected
Hello Animal Lovers,
Sparks was a long-timer at North Central Animal Shelter on the euthanasia list because of his severe hip dysplasia. But Sparks is a three-year-old joyful boy with a tremendous amount of life ahead of him and volunteers couldn't stand the idea of him not making it out of the shelter alive. He was rescued from North Central Animal Shelter from the euthanasia list an hour before his deadline.
To save his life he was adopted out without rescue backing and sponsored by a private individual with a plan to help him find a home in New Hampshire. Through a series of fortunate events, and some awesome people (Missy Eisen, Judi Luthy, and Liane Malossi) he now finds himself on a transport to Indiana (he left 11/8) on his way to a rescue- vetted special needs foster (a real-life superhero! Sonja) who intends to adopt him. He will be on large acreage with lots of husky siblings.
We are asking if anyone would like to turn their pledges into a donation to help support this baby and his journey. His foster mom would love to get him the medical care he needs. She wants to take him to Purdue Medical, and we would love to help her get him started with some financial help. His medical care could culminate in physical therapy or double-hip replacement, a costly procedure with a long recovery. if anyone would like to donate towards his care.
Donations will go towards:
His transport: $650
His vetting and medical care: (TBD?)
All money will go to little Sparks. Sparks deserves the best. Many adopters didn't want to take on this special needs boy, but Sonja (his new foster mom) leaped to his aid. Let's leap to hers!
Thank you for donating. All donations big and small will help get this boy where he needs to go.
Thank you!
