Help Spencer in battling rare kidney disease -FSGS

Spencer is 14, an honor roll student. He is the only son of Jennifer Buice and loving grandson of Laura Rusch. He was taken into emergency on July 5th, 2023. Due to his age and the severity of his condition, he was then transported via ambulance to Rady’s Children’s hospital in San Diego. Spencer has been there ever since enduring a battery of tests. He is suffering from a rare kidney disease called Focal Glomerulosclerosis or FSGS. With only 50% renal function, the specialists are doing everything necessary to treat him, but have been battling with other complications as well. His mother and grandmother have been by his bedside night and day. His family and friends are devastated as he will be undergoing treatment three days a week for 5 hours a day, post discharge.
