Help Spike Fight FIP – A Maine Coon Mix’s Journey to Recovery
Dear friends, family, and fellow animal lovers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of Spike, our brave 8-month-old Maine Coon kitten who is battling the devastating disease FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).
Spike showed up on our doorstep as a young kitten and has grown into an affectionate, playful, and loving cat who has brought so much joy into our lives in such a short time. He’s more than just a pet; he’s family, and we are doing everything we can to help him fight this cruel disease.
Spike was diagnosed with FIP several weeks ago, a condition that once carried a near-certain prognosis of being fatal. However, thanks to recent breakthroughs in treatment, Spike has been responding well to his injections, showing us that hope is not lost. The medication is working, but his battle is far from over. Spike needs to continue treatment for several more months, which requires not only ongoing care but also frequent, costly bloodwork to monitor his progress and ensure he stays on track.
As you can imagine, the financial burden of these medical treatments is overwhelming. We are asking for your support to help Spike continue his fight. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward covering the cost of his medicine, bloodwork, and any additional veterinary care he needs to keep moving toward recovery.
Spike is a fighter, and we believe he has the strength to pull through – but we can’t do it alone. Your generosity will give him the chance he deserves to live a long, healthy life.
Please help us spread the word, share his story, and consider donating if you are able. We appreciate your support from the bottom of our hearts – thank you for helping Spike keep fighting.
With love and gratitude,
