Help St Helena Island ⚽ reach the Guernsey Games.
Donation protected
St. Helena is one of 16 islands chosen to participate in this year's International Island Games which will be hosted in Guernsey from July 8th to the 14th.
We are a small island in the South Atlantic, in fact, the second most remote inhabited island in the world with just 4,000 people and we will be the smallest island in the competition, up against the likes of Greenland, Bermuda and Menorca.
We need to raise approximately £60,000 to be able to send a team of 16 players and 3 officials to Guernsey.
With a struggling economy badly affected by the COVID pandemic and receiving no support from any external football bodies we need help to raise the funds required.
Football plays a huge role in our community, our one venue, Francis Plain is one place where the young and old come together as a community.
We have currently raised £18,000 and are appealing to individuals, businesses, clubs and celebrities out there to make this dream come true for our young footballers.
We need to reach our target by the end of March as this is the cutoff date financially.
Thank you for reading this and any donation to this worthy cause, be it large or small would be very much appreciated.
