Help St. Munchin's Community Centre - Limerick

** UPDATE **
On Friday morning, we received a call from the local authorities for use of our St. Lelias Age Friendly Campus building that could be repurposed and refurbished into a short term - Emergency Central Hub.
St. Lelia’s Campus is currently being used to shelter displaced people, as a safe place for their families and children to flee to. There is a bit of a language barrier between us all, but with help of Google translate, we’re trying our best to manage.
Today, Cllr. Conor Sheehan (Labour) has located a temporary Translator with the help of the GPO, Limerick.
As an Emergency Central Hub, we will do our very best to help where we can.
We are hoping to raise money, to assist with expenses of Emergency Accommodation. We have kindly been offered two Modular Units at a reduced rate of €32,000 & we need to raise funds to help pay for these.
Many people fleeing have lost all possessions & family. They are tired, scared & worried about what will happen & where they are going to. If you can donate anything at all to our cause, please click the link below. Any funds raised from today onwards will be going towards helping Ukrainians.
This page will now be used to collect funds for Ukrainians, going forward from today.
