Help St. Paul Abbey & the Retreat Center - Newton

Hi everyone, for this year’s Christmas season, David and I are fundraising to help the monks at the St Paul Abbey in Newton, NJ.

We recently learned that the monks at St Paul Abbey are in dire need of help. From maintaining  the large retreat grounds to even just the daily livelihood of the monks to have access to necessities — they have been significantly impacted this year. 

David and I both have tremendous memories of St. Paul Abbey.  we grew up going to camps and retreats there since we were young, and even after marriage we encountered God’s love and the Holy Spirit numerous times at this special place. 

for those of you who have been there, I’m sure you can remember walking down the quiet hallways, enjoying delicious korean home cooked meals that you rarely get at other retreat centers, staying up late around the camp grounds and those bunk beds, and going for walks along the lake. 

For the last 20+ years, it served as our place to encounter God’s love in so many ways and impacted our spiritual lives. 

We ask that this Advent season, please donate what you can, to help out St. Paul Abbey so it can continue to be a place of worship and community for many many more years to come for the future generations of our church. 

And most importantly, please keep the Abbey and the retreat center in your prayers.

We will match whatever amount we are able to raise through the fundraiser.
