Help Stacey Afford a Dental Bridge

Hi, my name is Stacey. I have the bad luck of teeth issues my whole life due to poor enamel and poor genetics from both sides of my family. I have spent thousands of dollars on my teeth over the years; almost every tooth has a filling and I have 5 crowns as well as a bridge on my front teeth due to a childhood accident - I was tripped on the playground and landed on my face. My front teeth broke right in half. After multiple caps and lots and money, I was able to have a bridge installed on my front teeth when I was 18.

Unfortunately, I am in need of another bridge, this time on the lower left side of my mouth. Tooth #19 on my lower row of teeth had to be pulled last year due to decay. It had originally been crowned, but the crown broke and the tooth broke beyond repair with it. I am unable to get an implant because I have a bone island (also called enostosis) in that jawbone. This is when bone fragments and tissue build up from trauma, and it was likely caused when #19 originally broke at age 10. The bone island makes my jawbone very dense, and an implant can cut off blood supply, which can lead to bone damage. If I don’t get this bridge, the teeth in front of and behind the space can move or further decay. My insurance will cover some, but not all. The total amount of this bridge is quoted at $2813.00, so I am asking for help to get as close as I can to what my cost will be.

I was not expecting to have this tooth pulled and to need this bridge, and the total cost of this procedure and the thought of going into even more debt over my teeth has left me with a lot of stress and anxieity.
