Help Stacey Recover from the Flood

Donation protected

Stacey's new home flooded in the titanic monsoon of 7/22-23. Although she is safe and dry, she lost her lifetime's accumulation of possessions - everything from musical equipment and furniture to food and spices is soaked through and irrecoverable. As I write this she is wading through shin deep water in her living room, salvaging what little might be saved. To compound this misfortune, we've learned that flood damage is not a risk covered by insurance and that Stacey will need to rebuild without any help from the financial institutions that typically protect against this kind of calamity.

This disaster struck shortly after Stacey spent thousands of dollars to move to a new home, now rendered unlivable, and her income does not offer the flexibility to absorb a loss of this magnitude. There is much that can't be replaced of great sentimental value, but donations to this GoFundMe will at least help give her the chance to rebuild and relocate. Please take this opportunity to be a force of kindness and empathy as Stacey strives to recompose her life. We carry a boundless wellspring of gratitude for any and all support you can offer.

Thank you,

Chris
