Help Stacey to Become a Bionic Woman!
Donation protected
My name is Mary and I’m starting this GoFundMe to benefit my best good friend, Stacey, who recently lost her job and got into a car accident. Geez. What a doozy, eh?
My best good friend, Stacey Rushworth, is amazing. She’s the kind of friend who is always there for you, knows you inside and out, checks in on you, and will pretty much go along with any crazy ideas you have (I know this from personal experience). We’ve been friends since we were 15 years old and met in Spanish class, bonding over a mutual love of the “X-Files”. In high school, people would only invite one of us to events, assuming the other would be there. It was a good assumption. 30 years later, we’re still best good friends.
Stacey recently lost her job last month after another company bought out her company and was not able to find a new position for her. This week she got into a car accident. She requires surgery on her knee and she’ll be getting some fun new additions, such as plates and pins in her hip from the back, turning her into somewhat of a bionic woman. She’ll now be able to properly tell people to “bite her shiny metal ass!” as she sets off metal detectors.
Suffice it to say, getting into a car accident after losing your job is absolutely garbage timing. Stacey is a humble person who hates asking for help. Her friends are asking for help for her, knowing she wouldn’t do it herself.
She’ll have a bit of a recovery to go through plus rehab and it may be a while before she can start looking for a new job. We ask you to please pitch in whatever you can to help make the road easier for her. Stacey is a person who always helps people in need and it’s time she received the same kindness. All funds will go to Stacey directly to help pay her medical bills and expenses. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading and extra big thanks for any donations you can contribute to this fund! We love our bionic woman!
