Help Stacy Scott's Family After Fire Evacuation
Donation protected
Hi friends, I am asking for any support you can offer. My high school friend Stacy Scott (Carmichael), her hubby Mike, kids, and animals have been evacuated from the Alexander Mountain fire. When she left yesterday, the Fire chief said the fire was only 2 miles away. So they were only able to pack up kids and most animals, they had to free chickens and duckies.
They currently need clothing, food, and hotel money to keep the big dogs with her. The hotel they are in is in Loveland and waived the animal fee and allowed the large dogs in, thankfully.
The goats are at a friend's home for now, however, if the fire moves more toward Loveland they will need to relocate again. The kids are staying with their older sister in Thornton. Stacy & Mike need to stay close enough to load dogs and goats up in the back of her truck and move them again.
We talked about getting a trailer up to her to get the goats but it would be hard with all the traffic.
So we think it would be best for her to stay near the goats.
If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated! We would donate any additional funds not used to other fire evacuees.
If you have any questions you can contact me directly. I just want to try and take as much stress off of this family as possible.
Thank you, our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the fires right now. All funds will go directly to the Scott family.
