Help Starfish Class raise money for covid patients
Year 2 Starfish class at Broadlea Primary School watched an assembly last week about a boy who climbed the distance of a mountain to raise money to buy covid patients at his local hospital some devices to be able to FaceTime their loved ones.
After the assembly had finished the class asked if they were able to do the same! So here we are! We are going to do exactly that- run the distance of going up Mount Everest (40 miles) over a 3 week period in the hope that we raise enough money to buy St Mary’s hospital some devices for covid patients to FaceTime their loved ones.
The children attending school at the moment will be running laps of the playground whilst the other children in starfish class will be running around their garden or outdoor space . Its going to be a real class team effort! These children are only 6-7 years old and we are so proud of them already for wanting to do something like this for others. So please help us to be even prouder of them by donating any spare change you have.
Thank you so much!
