Help Starlight Studio pay teachers and rent

Starlight has been my dream my entire life and last year I finally built it! A safe place where everyone is welcome and kids can grow and explore safely. Four months and six days after opening we had to close our doors and move all our classes online. COVID-19 has hit our little studio very hard financially. As a brand new small business, we have invested everything into getting the studio up and running and we never anticipated having to shut our doors for so many weeks in our first year. We have not yet succeeded in getting any PPP funding (but we are still trying!) and we still have to pay rent, we are still committed to paying our teachers and we still have many operational expenses. We also have many students who have paused or cancelled their accounts during this time and of course, all rentals, theatrical productions, birthday parties and fundraising events have been cancelled or delayed indefinitely. At the end of the day, the tuition we are bringing in for online classes covers less than 1/5 of those costs.
We have started a GoFundMe to try to help make up a little of that difference. If you can donate, that would mean the world to me and you will be helping me to pay those teachers and pay rent and bills. If you cannot donate, that is ok!
