Help Starr Shover Rebuild After House Fire

My name is Duncan Starkenburg, a student at the University of Vermont. I regularly eat at Harris Millis Dining for breakfast and am almost always greeted with a smiling face from one server in particular; Starr Shover.

Today, 1/15/2025, Starr asked me about my winter break (which was fantastic) and I then asked her how her break was. This is when Starr informed me that on Christmas day 2024, her house completely burned down.

Although Starr told me she is finding places to stay here and there, she is relying on friends and God to provide for her.

As someone who has won multiple exceptional service awards and goes out of her way to make students' days just a little brighter, she deserves to have a safe and comfortable place to stay while she waits for a more permanent solution or a new house.

Please help me in giving back to Starr Shover.
