Help start a Catholic Worker in St. Louis!

"Have you found a place yet? I know someone with nowhere to stay.”
“I wish the Catholic Worker in St. Louis was up and running, I’m aware of a mother and daughter in need of housing for a few nights.”
Ever since we announced our plans to open a new Catholic Worker house in the St. Louis area we’ve received inquiries like these.
This holiday season we are trying to gather money for a down payment on a house. Interest rates are high and the more money we raise the less burdened we will be by a loan.
What we hope to do with this home:
- hospitality: house folks the system fails (unhoused, low income, folks needing a few nights etc)
- a hub for activism & mutual aid; bringing out a revolution of the heart
- community space to foster community in our region
Please help this dream of a new Catholic Worker house of hospitality a reality!
