Help Stefan & Jenni with their IVF journey

We are Jenni and Stefan, just living life in the USA. We met while working on cruise ships in 2013, became good friends and, after some cruise ship drama *cue 'The Love Boat' theme*, the Dutchman fell in love with the American girl (and she with him) and they started sailing the world together.
Come 2016 we had the desire to move ashore, start some boring 9-5 job and see what the future held for us. Luckily, our employer offered an exciting career in the USA, and we were spared the boring job. We settled into our new life and got married the next year. In that same year we were ready for the next, and probably even bigger step: Starting a family. We recognize that we were very lucky to be quickly blessed with a pregnancy announcement. Without much complication, 9 months later our son was born. This kid is our little miracle, and we cannot describe how deep our love is for this little hyperactive, cheeky, and yet shy boy.
Fast Forward a few years and we finally felt ready to take that next step and try for a sibling for our son, and another child to love on.
After trying for what is considered by the medical community as a significant time, we have been diagnosed with “unexplainable secondary infertility”. Unfortunately, fertility treatment is not seen as a “medical necessity” in the USA. Opinions and political debates aside, the conclusion is that it’s expensive.
After several blood tests, and much discussion with our incredibly caring medical team, we have begun the process of IVF. So far, it has been going as well as we could hope. We're 100% in this together every step of the way. Our first medication cycle and retrieval went well, and our odds are better than they were at the start of the process. However, we are fully aware that this is a chance at a second child, not a guarantee.
The mental and physical strain of making the decision to move forward, as well as having continued hope through the ups and downs, is significant. However, we’re feeling positive and we have hope and faith that what is for us will not pass us by.
As we go through this process, your prayers, good vibes, support or, if possible, assistance with the costs of this newest adventure would all be greatly appreciated.
