Help Steph, A Mistreated Union Starbucks Worker

Steph is a unionized Starbucks worker at the Ithaca on The Commons store in Ithaca, New York. Due to ongoing stress in not only work, but life, Starbucks has done almost nothing to help Steph so she can continue to work functionally— in fact, the company has been working against her. Between ignoring her scheduling requests and leaving her in the dark when she asks questions about a leave of absence, Steph feels hopeless. Now she is in a position where Starbucks is leaving her no other option but to quit. She is left wondering how she can pay not only her remaining bills, but for necessities like food. Steph can’t go back to work right now because she has been struggling with her mental health, and her manager is refusing to give her the accommodations she needs.
