Stephanie’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello Everyone , if you are seeing this my mom Stephanie needs our help !

September 2023,  my Mom hadn’t been feeling herself. She noticed she was low in energy and experiencing pain throughout her body , as well as a noticeable change in her right breast . She was taken to Urgent Care where they sent her for further testing.

Shortly after , she received a mammogram and an ultrasound. The doctors still couldn’t confirm what was going on exactly so lastly she received a biopsy. The biopsy confirmed that she did in fact have Cancer.

A mass the size of a lime was imbedded deep within her right breast. She was then taken for a MRI and a Ct scan .

The doctors were able to confirm that the Cancer is Her2 negative and hormone receptor positive which means it needs hormones such as estrogen and progesterone to grow. She was then put on hormone blockers to slow down the growth and scheduled for surgery in January 2024.

My Mothers procedure consists of mastectomy as well as breast reconstruction. Her treatment after surgery is currently unknown because her test results were all different.
