Help Stephanie Escape Abuse and Rebuild Her Life

My name is Stephanie, and I am raising funds to escape an extremely abusive situation and rebuild my life.

I am taking the brave step to leave behind the pain and start fresh, but I need your help to make this possible. My journey includes moving myself, my beloved pets (Harlow, Bootleg, & Gmork), and my most cherished belongings—many of which are heirlooms from my late father and ancestors. These items are all I have left of them, and they hold immense sentimental value, representing the love and strength that keeps me moving forward.

On my arm, I carry a semicolon tattoo that signifies that "my story will go on." This phrase reminds me daily of my resilience and hope for a brighter future. It reflects my determination to break free from the cycle of abuse, take my pets to safety, and begin a new chapter where peace and healing are possible.

I have been applying to as many as 30 jobs a day, hoping to secure remote work so I can support myself and have the flexibility to work from anywhere. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much luck yet, but I am determined to keep trying. This campaign will provide me with the resources I need to escape, stabilize, and continue my job search as I work toward building a safe, independent life.

The funds I am raising will cover the costs of moving supplies, hiring movers to help load up the moving truck I'll be driving to safety, renting a truck with a tow hitch for my car, gas to travel from Georgia to New York, and a critical $2,000 to restore power in my apartment back in NY. Additionally, these funds will help me file for divorce and establish a safe, independent life for myself and my pets.
