Help Stephanie Johnson

Hello everyone my name is Dennis Pickens. I am starting this page to help raise money for Stephanie Johnson after losing her husband Alan Johnson "Oomp" to Covid! Her husband was one of my top five friends. We were two peas in the same pod at one time. I have not been very vocal about anything because there are just not any right words to speak to ease the pain. I have made the choice today to not be silent anymore I have to speak. I have to help and ask my friends and their friends, friends to help me help Stephanie.

Alan Johnson was not only a great friend to me but to tons more people that I can not even begin to count the lives that were touched by him. He had that IT factor. That thing you can't really explain why you love him, you just did. He was a great son and a wonderful brother to his two sisters. A wonderful husband and the guy in the cape to his two children. Alan also loved the Lord Jesus Christ. A Godly man and was not scared to let you know that. Alan would invite you to come to sit in church with him and his family, give you a shirt off your back, and give you money if you needed it.

I say all that to say this. Alan was called to his heavenly father and is now watching over all of us. As a friend, I am asking anyone that can help to help me help this wife and two kids take some of the load off their plate. I know money doesn't bring Alan back but it does help with the financial burden that is left behind. The loss of a friend is tough but it doesn't compare to losing a life partner or being a kid that buried his parent. Everyone that knows me knows I am not the one short for words but I don't know how else to say or how to help! So here I am. I think the ones that came to the services know that my loss of words speaks for itself.
