Help Stephanie pay for double mastectomy
Donation protected
Stephanie is having a double mastectomy on April 14th, 2022. Her first lumpectomy in her left breast was six years ago and since has gone in every six months for check-ups which had many scares in between. Recently on her last check-up, it was found she had cluster papillomas. There is a lot of family history of breast cancer as well as genetic history of breast cancer in the family. After much turmoil mentally and physically, her doctors feel she should get the double mastectomy.
She and her husband have been a couple since high school. Stephanie is a wonderful mother of 2 boys: Carter (12) & Cooper (8). She volunteers as a religious education teacher in a local Naperville church. In June of 2020 their family suffered a fire in their home which caused them a very difficult hardship. Living outside their home for almost a year as it was rebuilt. This family just can't seem to catch a break.
Stephanie is self-employed as a hairstylist at Styles by Steph located in the Pink Door Salon in Aurora. Most families nowadays require two incomes to survive groceries, mortgage, and just day-to-day living expenses. They are one of them and now adding on the costs of this surgery. Due to not being able to work after surgery for her recovery as well as the need to help cover the deductible, we are hoping for support from people like you reading this.
Please help! Her family will greatly appreciate it!
