Help Stephanie Thompson and Her Family Fight ALS
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,
We reach out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits as we navigate an unexpected and challenging journey. Earlier this year, our beloved daughter, Stephanie Thompson (44) was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
Stephanie is not only a devoted daughter and cherished friend; she is also the loving mother of three incredible boys—Malik (14), Faris (13), and Zain (6). Her life has always been centred around her family, and she has dedicated herself to providing them with love, strength, and guidance. Now, as she faces this battle, Stephanie needs our support more than ever.
ALS is a formidable adversary, bringing with it mounting medical expenses, necessary home modifications, and the need for specialized care and equipment. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support Stephanie, but we humbly recognize that we cannot do it alone.
How You Can Help:
1. Medical Expenses: Stephanie requires ongoing treatments, therapies, and potential clinical trials, all of which are costly. Your contributions will help ease the financial burden of these crucial medical interventions.
2. Home Modifications: To ensure Stephanie's safety and comfort, we need to make significant modifications to her home. This includes installing ramps, stairlifts, and other necessary equipment to accommodate her changing mobility needs.
3. Caregiving Support: As Stephanie's condition progresses, professional caregiving support will become essential. Your donations will help provide the care she needs to maintain her quality of life and allow her to focus on what truly matters—spending precious time with her boys.
Your Support Matters:
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network can help us reach others who may be able to assist. Your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement are also invaluable to us during this time.
Please be advised when making a donation, an additional tip on top of your donation is optional.
Be sure to slide the tip bar to 0% if you don’t want to leave an additional tip to the Go fund me website.
Stephanie has touched the lives of so many with her kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit. We are confident that with the love and support of our community, we can give her the best possible chance to fight this disease and create lasting memories with her children.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read Stephanie's story. Your generosity and compassion mean the world to us.
With gratitude and hope,
