Help Stephanie to walk better with the Bioness L300 Go
Donation protected
My name is Laurie Plowman and I am raising funds for my daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. She has a very hard time walking and part of that is because she has foot drop. She recently was seen by her doctor and tried the new device Bioness L300 Go. She was able to walk better within minutes and we were so excited to find something that would make it easier for her to walk. But sadly, we found out that Humana doesn’t pay for these devices. She was so disappointed and I felt awful when I had to tell her we couldn’t afford them.
This is a new device that is called Bioness L300 Go. The L300 Go is a functional electrical stimulation (FES) system capable of producing measurable mobility improvements for patients with foot drop and/or knee instability caused by upper motor neuron disease or injury such as Cerebral Palsy. This award-winning device stimulates the nerves in your lower leg, activating muscles to lift the foot and help you walk more naturally. It also activates the nerves controlling the major muscles of the leg, providing better knee control and stability. There is a 40% improvement in walking speed, 15% on critical balance measures, 30% improvement in distance walked and 25% therapeutic improvement.
They are $4,500 each (one for each leg). We would be happy to get 1 for the leg that is the worst! If anyone is able to help, we would greatly appreciate it! God Bless you!
