Hi, my name is Stephen McCrone. I’m 34 years old, and for the past 11 years, I’ve been facing severe health issues that have drastically impacted my life. Since I was 23, I’ve been battling clotting issues that have led to 3 strokes and 2 blocked arteries in my heart. Despite these challenges, I’ve done my best to take care of myself and continue working, especially after recently welcoming my daughter into the world.

Unfortunately, my health has taken a serious turn. I’ve recently been unable to work due to ongoing heart problems, and doctors still don’t know what’s causing them. After numerous tests and visits to specialists, I’ve been told that my condition may be related to either vasculitis or antiphospholipid syndrome, but the full diagnosis remains unclear. If you would like more details, I am willing to share my medical records to show the gravity of the situation.

My family is struggling. We’ve not received pay for the last month, and medical bills are piling up. I’m doing everything I can to take care of my family, but the uncertainty of my health is taking its toll.

Update: A Tough Road Ahead – In Need of a Transplant

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to update you all on my health journey. Recently, I traveled to Springfield to have Dr. Tony Di Martini perform a procedure to place stents in my heart. He spent four hours inside my heart, doing everything he could. Unfortunately, after three days in the hospital, I was told the procedure was unsuccessful. My veins are severely damaged, and I have been diagnosed with a very aggressive vein disease.

Because of this, I will now need a heart transplant. This is a difficult reality to face, but I am staying strong and hopeful. However, the road ahead will be long, and the medical expenses continue to add up.

I am incredibly grateful for the support, love, and generosity I have received so far. If you are able to donate or share my story, it would mean the world to me. Every bit of help brings me one step closer to the care I need.
