Help Stephen Recover After Emergency Lung Surgery

On March 29th, 2025, 39-year-old Stephen Hetland's lung unexpectedly collapsed. He underwent emergency thoracic surgery and a pleurodesis procedure, and he is now in recovery.

Unfortunately, a portion of his lung remains collapsed-something the surgery couldn't fully repair. His condition is being closely monitored with ongoing scans and appointments with specialists over the next few weeks.

Stephen's girlfriend, Bianca, has become his full-time caregiver, as his family lives out of state. On top of that, both Stephen and Bianca work at the same job, and with neither of them currently able to work, they are facing this crisis without any income. Bianca is also a dedicated mother providing for her teenage child, making this situation even more difficult.
